A lightweight trainer that is built to feel fast and propel you forward. The Skechers GoRun 5 is ready to pick up the pace!
This is a brand quickly establishing itself as one to watch. The technology used basically provides a beautifully cushioned ride but one that does respond if you want to run quicker. Fit is superb as is the weight – this is a shoe designed for speed but not at the expense of comfort. The engineered-mesh upper provides a breathable, comfortable environment, while the thinner, flatter (for Skechers) sole allows a great feel for the road. In the past, Skechers shoes used a rocker design to push you up into your toes but in this shoe, that’s been flattened and replaced with a single-density foam throughout the midsole. But you’ll still feel the cushioning and you’ll still feel competitive so the remodelling is no bad thing! You might like to steer clear of wet road or mud but it’s clear from the upper’s design these aren’t really for that action anyway.
A light, competitive shoe that goes a long way in ensuring you have as natural footstrike as possible.
