A great mile munching every day shoe. Cruise and enjoy but buy a snappier pair for faster pace workouts.
The Saucony Triumph has enhanced energy underfoot with an increased EVERUN landing zone, while the ISOFIT System delivers a dynamic fit that adapts to your stride. Take a look at the Nike Vomero 13 for a similar ride.
It does have a heavier feel but you don’t go away thinking it’s unresponsive; the opposite in fact. A quick flex and general once over tells you this is going to be a performance-friendly addition to your stable, but one that will do it in a soft and friendly way.
Saucony has introduced full-length Everrun to great effect; it has our testers and the market in general really talking about the superb spring and cushioning provided. Some tweaking here and there – no make that serious reworking – has moved the Triumph on a notch or three and now runners will really notice the great ride. The Everrun even features as a heel insert, adding to that feeling of propulsion.
Wraparound mesh makes for a ventilated, supportive inner for your feet, with a series of supportive additions to make sure your feet do as they should at speed. The exterior works with just two bands now for support rather than the three in previous models so the shoe is forgiving and able to move in the right way while FlexFilm overlays provide the support.
A great daily training shoe that offers plenty in the way of stability and cushioning. You’ll love the fit and general ‘performance’ feel this shoe provides even though it’s more luxury sedan than two-seater Roadster.
How was Saucony Triumph for you? Let us know, we’d love to report your findings.
