A premium neutral cushioned, everyday training shoe. It's very similar to the Triumph and could be described as a 'Triumph on a diet' - its been trimmed down a little and feels a little less chunky, perhap a little better for the lighter runner or one that wants a shoe that offers all the cushioning of a Triumph yet a faster feeling ride.
Ideal for those wanting a lightweight daily trainer with a highly responsive feel. This shoe is also light enough to race in. Its a rare shoe that can accomplish these two things but with its use of the EVERUN midsole it manages very well. Light, flexible and durable!
Think Triumph 17 and then think a little lighter. Thats essentially what we have here - a trimmed down Triumph, similar cushioning performance but a little less bulk. Perfect for faster paced running.
For a comparison, have a look at the confusingly titled (why would any brand have two different shoes with a similar name?!), the Freedom ISO 2.
Full length EVERUN provides a very smooth, cushioned and responsive ride. It's durable too, so able to cope with daily miles as well as felling just as at home when racing or pushing the pace.
Another great upper from Saucony. A little lighter than many of their shoes, using lightweight and breathable mesh, but the way it holds the foot gives a secure lockdown without feeling restrictive. cc
A crystal rubber compound is very durable. The pattern aids flexibility for a nice toe-off.
A lovely shoe, plenty of cushioning, responsive yet smooth ride and relatively light, almost racing shoe weight.
Durable enough for daily training but light enough for racing.
