The feedback on this shoe is really quite exceptinoal. Pretty much everyone that wears them loves them!
There's no carbon plate in this racer, but there is a PEBAX plate and that provides more than enough 'propultion' for its wearers.
Want a fast, performance shoe that can handle a few mid-week miles as well as the 10k at the weekend? Well this is the shoe for you. Light, fast feeling and propulsive, it's also well priced for such performance.
A lively feel with a noticeable rocker and stiffer forefoot for that much sought after propulsive toe-off.
The midsole uses the brands PWRRUN PB material which offers a 'springy' feel too that only adds to the feeling of speed.
The brands PWRRUN PB is a Pebax blend midsole material, similar to adidas Boost, but here it's more stable, a little firmer and the better for it. It gives the benefit of the quick rebound but without the instability. Combined with the composite plate it creates a stiffer forefoot rocker for a snappier toe-off and lively feel.
A relatrively slim fit which holds the midfoot well, it feels a good match for the shoe which is aimed at moving quickly.
Fairly minimalist sole but it covers all the key areas of friction and traction to provide durability without adding too much weight.
Saucony have managed to create a shoe that ticks most of the boxes nowadays for those seeking 'supershoes' - yet here, they manage to do so at a price much nearer to the that of 'regular' models.
Its a versatile shoe too, able to handle a few midweek miles and up-tempo sessions as well as racers of any distance should you wish.
It's certainly a shoe to consider in the 'supershoe' catagory - that is of course if you can find a pair. They have been such a good seller for the brand, keeping up with demand has beena struggle for them!
