A simple yet stylish trail shoe, the Wildhorse provides reasonable cushioning and traction and is a great entry to off-road running shoes. Reasonably priced so scores better because of that.
Good value, good looks and good performance. Given the cost its an ok shoe, spend a little more and get higher performance, but at the price, not bad at all.
A neat and stylish update to the model. React foam cushioning improves the overall ride, whilst grip remains similar to the previous version. The updated upper looks great and in a range of colours, this shoe will no doubt prove a popular model, especially for those seeking an occasional use off-road.
The Wildhorse 6 sits just below the Nike Terra Kiger 6 in the range. Both are very good nike off-roaders and worthy of consideration.
React foams gives a reasonably soft and responsive ride. A rock guard incorporated into the midsole provides protection from sharp stones and rocks and also has the benefit of helping to keep the shoe stable.
Breathable mesh with rubberised overlays at key areas of friction, around the heel and toe, to add durability and protection.
There's a neat ankle collar that's knitted and sits a little higher around the heel to help keep debris out of the shoe, its a nice touch and works well.
A heel tab has been added on the heel counter - to help you remove the shoes, but if we are being honest, once its covered in mud most will stick to the tried and tested method of kicking the shoe off with the toe of the other foot!
Well-spaced multi-directional lugs do a good job of providing traction on most surfaces regardless of the conditions. The sole flexes well too, so it will keep you free of mud as you move.
A reasonably priced off-road shoe that does most things well without being outstanding. It looks rather stylish and given its cost will prove popular, especially for those that don't want to spend too much on a shoe that's going to get dirty!
React Foam midsole provides a soft, smooth ride.
Segmented Rock Plate for protection from rocks.
Sock-like collar hugs just below the ankle bone and acts like a gaiter to keep out dirt and debris.
