A totally new running shoe from Nike. The React Miler is only about one thing - Max plush cushioning for longer runs.
Perfect for easy long runs and high mileage training, the Nike React Miler is an incredibly soft, highly cushioned everyday running shoe with a smooth transition from heel to toe.
Brand new to Nike's lineup, the Nike React Miler maximizes comfort by combining a soft foam with an efficient and smooth ride.
I loved the:
Featuring more React foam than the Nike React Infinity, this shoe is designed to keep you healthy and comfortable during those long days on the roads. Finished off with a lightweight upper that locks your foot in place. Having worn both, I have to say this new miler is slightly ahead of the Infinty as my favourate Nike cushion shoe. It as a great all round package for an easy to wear trainer.
An ultra soft, broad platform that is fantastically comfortable. Out of the box, this shoe is plush and soft, but wide enough to create enough stability to not feel unstable. Huge amount of react foam, and a heel clip combine to offer a great balance between max cushioning and enough support to make this a great daily trainer.
There is plenty of surface contact and a flared midsole for a crazy broad base but the rocker shape gives a fluid heel to toe transition, which makes this shoe fluid at pace (too soft to run very quickly) and smooth over high mileage. Long runs were made easy in this shoe, the extra cushioing is welcome, without feeling sluggish.
Plush in the collar, slim and light throught the forefoot. There isnt anything outstanding with this shoe, but it all works. The lacing system is good, and the heel support is solid for a lightweight cushion shoe.
There are some really large improvements to this shoe over other React Foam shoes as the durabilty is great. Cored out, and decoupled pods of thick rubber delivers durabilty without adding too much weight. The lugs are good, enough for some off road running, and the ride is smooth and quiet.
The pod rubber design works well, as they work independently from each other to create a smooth ride that flexes with the foot. The cored out heel improves the cushioning and responsiveness and the decoupling from heel to toe creates a responsive ride for such a plush shoe.
A fantastic addition to the Nike range, which has taken on many of the requests for improvements from other React cushion shoes. Crazy plush, smooth and efficient. Durable enough to be an everyday trainer, with the softest ride on the market. Win win all round - just a shame the Nike design team did not sprinkly the magic design dust on the shoe, it is a fairly plain looking shoe.
