The Fresh Foam 1080 v10 takes the brands range-topping neutral flagship to new levels of cushioning
Delivering even more responsive cushioning than its predecessor, the 1080v10 delivers premium comfort at a fair price. Worthy of consideration if a neutral runner.
Taking the brands range-topping neutral flagship to new levels of cushioning, this latest version of the 1080 features the new Fresh Foam X material.
The NB 880 v10 is a great and cheaper alternative or if you fancy a max cushioned shoe, check out the Fresh Foam More v2.
This Super-plush, deep cushioning model offers enhanced softness upon foot strike with a more energetic rebound feel with near maximal like proportions.
Unlike some maximal type shoes this shoe manages to remain neat and sculpted and not at all bulky or cumbersome feeling. This is helped by the new upper, a soft, knitted design with a stretch, sock-like fit and reimagined heel collar.
The heel looks at first to be a little unusual and indeed it is, but the fit is one of security without presence. You hardly notice it at all and, therefore, there’s no signs of friction or irritation.
To aid lightness, the blown rubber in the forefoot increases cushioning and responsiveness whilst featuring flex grooves to allow for more flexibility in the forefoot.
It’s a plush, stable cushioned shoe that certainly has the X factor.
