The latest version of the ever popular Wave RIder from Mizuno features the brand's new ENERZY cushioning material for a lighter, smoother and more responsive ride.
Fantastic. If you are looking for a everyday training shoe that works at any pace, the Rider 24 is a very serious contender! The smooth, light and responsive feel of the new ENERZY foam, combined with the familiar Wave plate works a treat. This will become a very popular shoe in the coming months for many runners.
WOW! - A really good update. The shoe has a sleek new upper and smooth riding new ENERZY midsole. The fit is great, materials have a premium feel and the ride is super smooth and resposive.

The familiar Mizuno Wave remains and this helps keep the shoe stable and under control. Combined with the new ENERZY midsole you have a smooth riding and responsive cushioned feel thats much more under control than shoes like the Nike Pegasus Turbo. It feels very capable at any speed and simply cruises along the road. At a slow jog or faster, race-pace effort, the shoes felt great and will certainly become one of my daily training options.
The layer mesh construction has a premium feel. High quality materials combine to give the shoe a great fit. This is aided by the updated heel collar fit which is rounder off and a little lower than previous models.
A gussetted tongue creates a wrap around fit and once on you hardly notice it at all.
A new outsole pattern gives better traction than ever before.Previous Mizuno shoes were rather 'smooth' or 'flat' on the outsole, which is fine on the roads, but this new outsole has a design thats great for traction on the roads as well as light trails. It performed well on gravel, forrest tracks and even grass. It's not a trail shoe, but for most runners it will go anywhere you require.
A really good update. The ENERZY midsole really delivers in terms of a responsive feel and it keeps the weight down. This shoe could really upset the apple cart and challenge shoes as smooth riding as the BROOKS GLYCERIN as well as responsive models like the Nike Pegasus Turbo
