Awesome Grip

By far the best grip in mud of any shoe I've ever run in. The almost complete lack of cushioning isn't an issue when it's muddy but as soon as the fields dry out they become far too hard to run in.

I've got narrow feet and find the fit great - not sure how wide footed people would cope though.

One of the other reviewers has mentioned quality problems and I've seen reviews on fell running sites that have raised the same issue. However, I've worn my pair for two winters now and have probably done 400+ miles in them and they are in remarkably good shape - apart from the laces snapping.

Good grip but they don't last

I found these shoes to have the best grip I have ever experienced on a fell running shoe and I've tried all the other main brands.

Ideal for wet grass and soft, muddy surfaces. They give total confidence when faced with these conditions. Not great for hard trails and don't even think of going near roads with them. They are comfortable and have a good fit.

Unfortunately my pair only lasted for 148 miles before the upper on one shoe completely detached from the sole. They hadn't been abused and there was hardly any wear on the studded soles.

Expensive running at £65 for 150 miles. For that reason I could not recommend them.
