Premium all-terrain model from HOKA. Maximal cushioning and a versatile outsole allow you to venture anywhere with plentiful protection mile after mile.
A real ultra-distance, multi-terrain model, this shoe provides ample cushioning, good stability and versatile grip. Go anywhere with ease and confidence and feel protected all the way.
Plenty of cushioning, a versaile outsole for traction on most surfaces and a well made and durable upper.
The Stinson ATR 5 has proved a popular model and sits just below the top of the range Hoka Mafate 2 but above the Hoka Speedgoat 4, and the lower, more aggressive Torrent models.
The CM-EVA midsole wraps the base of the foot to create a stable base. The deep cushioning simply soaks up the impact of every step and feels very capable on various terrains except for very rough technical paths.
It offers a 5mm drop and the rocker found on most HOKA models is there, although it's not as noticeable as on some shoes.
A very durable upper construction uses brearthable mesh and rubberised overlays for protection and durability. It is supportive and holds the foot well to keep it central and stable within the shoe.
The versatile outsole design features 4mm lugs around the edge of the outsole and a sticky rubber section for added traction in the wet. It is a versatile combination and works well on most surfaces. In deep mud you may struggle, but this is an all-terrain shoe so aims to do 'most things well'
A versatile shoe that lives up to its ATR (all terrain running) name tag. It should take you anywhere you wish to venture and beyond - such is the volume of cushioning.
HIP CMEVA midsole cushioning material.
Active Foot Frame allows the foot to sink into the midsole for increased stability.
Sticky Rubber Compound for added traction in the wet.
Trail Outsole is updated to place more tightly packed 4 mm lugs for rugged grip across all types of terrain.
