OCRxCTM running shoe is a combination of all-terrain traction, lightweight flexibility and engineered support. A good looking, beautifully made shoe and a great addition to the world of adventure running. Worthy of consideration.
Originally designed for the rigors of obstacle course racing, this shoe combines the original with developments for the more extreme off-road runner.
The cushioning matches up well, providing a firm yet flexible feel that’s ideal in the soft, wet conditions it will no doubt encounter. Wet conditions were obviously a consideration in designing the shoe with drainage channels incorporated into the midsole and an easy to drain mesh upper construction.
The upper of the shoe is beautifully engineered, with drawstring laces incorporated into lacing loops that wrap the midfoot securely and snugly making the shoe feel like an extension of the foot.
The shoe features deep, aggressive and well-spaced lugs that are a match for any shoe in the mud, giving a well-balanced and totally non-slip grip.
It may not be a familiar name in footwear but the shoe is certainly going to be a tough off-road contender.
KPU-engineered cage with mid-foot flexible ribs, heel stability layer, durable toe cap reinforcement, and added lateral durability to prevent blow-outs
Hydrain™ midsole drainage system quickly evacuates water from inside the shoe
Rugged outsole with dual-layer lug system provides ultimate traction on varying outdoor surfaces
X shaped design pattern on forefoot to ensure optimum grip at the varying angles created by uneven terrain
Reverse contoured heel form to eliminate friction, blisters, and pressure along the Achilles tendon
