Overview
At this price the shoes is very good. The upper has been tweaked. The midsole and outsole has maintained its lightweight and flexible feel while maintaining a fair level of cushioning.

Great racer
The perfect lightweight, yet cushioned, racer. Probably not for the heavier men, but I've run half marathons in them with no problem. Didn't have Dave W's problem with toe seams or heel tab.
Brooks T5 Racer
Very lightweight but also very cushioned, the outsole is just a firmer grade of EVA so they tend to wear down pretty quickly. They are good value at £45 and should last for plenty of races. Only issues I had were a slightly rigid heel tab and also the seems across the toes tended to rub and cause blisters unless I spread vaseline on the inside of the shoe. Otherwise great 10k shoe and maybe as far as a half. They fit small so go up a size.
