Overview
A new shoe heading up a whole new category from Brooks called 'Guidance'. This shoe is offering good cushioning and support but this support is designed to be more subtle and to steer your foot from heel strike to toe off rather than fight it. This works well and shoes how far support shoes have come from the days of harsh medial posts. A lot of the guidance is targeted around the midfoot.Road Race Suitability

Mix of comfort and numbness
My initial reaction with these running shoes was, 'I am bouncing'. Certainly there is no lack of cushioning and for runs up to 40 minutes they have provided a very comfortable ride. However, after three quarters of an hour i have been getting a numb feeling through the ball of my foot, which still occurs after over 150km of training.
