'Tempo' shoe or more realistically a racer/trainer. Light, performance feel and energised ride thanks to the nitrogen infused foam.
A very nice option for a faster paced shoe that isn't super high stack. It's a realistic shoe for serious running. Light and fast and more sensibly priced than many of the new super-shoes.
Light, with a bit of spring, this shoe is certainly something different from Brooks. A good, close, snug fit from the upper and a nice 'pop' on toe-off.
The DNA Flash midsole is nitrogen infused. This creates a springier feel. It sits between the regular racing shoe feel and the super-soft spring like feel of the new super-shoes. It's light and durable though so will last longer than many.
Thin, single layer mesh with perforations for breathability. Nice fit and simply design with a stretch like quality.
Low-profile design with just enough rubber for durability and a little traction. Strictly for the roads.
A good shoe but a somewhat niche product that competes in a now very crowded 'performance trainer' category. For Brooks fans it's a good shoe for faster paced running and will fit in nicely with a rotation of other shoes.
If you want carbon though, look towards the Brooks Hyperion Elite.
