The Brooks Glycerine is the brands top of the range neutral cushioned shoe offering a superbly cushioned ride. Perfect for logging the long training mile required for the marathon runner.
Plush, deep cushioning the Glycerin delivers a great soft ride that's smooth and welcoming mile after mile.
A softer ride than previous versions, the latest Glycerin provides the ultimate in smooth, stable cushioning for the long run. The upper continues to be a luxurious fit, well padded yet breathable and a great fit from the very first moment you place your foot in it.
The Glycerin sits right at the top of the Brooks neutral cushioning tree along with the Brooks Levitate 3 and above models like the best-selling Brooks Ghost and Brooks Aduro 6.
New DNA loft and BioMoGo combination midsole materials makes for a super soft and cushioned ride. It's durable too, doesn't bottom out and offers the same feel mile after mile. It's a stable material so it keeps even slight over-pronators in check.
The padded heel collar welcomes your foot as it slides into the plush upper. The materials all have a premium feel and the construction is top notch. Breathable and airy whilst being snug and supportive, Brooks have got some of the best fitting shoes around this season.
Good traction on and off-road - that's light trails, not mud, but essentially it's good for most runs.
If you want the best the brand has to offer in terms of cushioning then this is the one. It's stable too, making it a nice alternative shoe for those with a larger mix of shoes at their disposal. A little more expensive than the Ghost but most will find the extra spend worth it. You'll know from the first step that it's been money well spent.
DNA Loft foam delivers plush and luxurious cushioning while maintaining responsiveness and durability.
HPR Plus is a high abrasion-resistant rubber located in the heel for durable traction.
DNA Loft transition zone makes moving from heel to toe soft and smooth.
Plush interior lining surrounds your foot and moves and expands with your stride.
