A premium model that offers outstanding comfort, but there are other possibly better performing models in the range.
A heavy weight performer, the shoe delivers plenty of cushioning and good support, but you pay the price for such durable cushioning with the weight of the shoe. The brand's Transcend or even ever popular GTS Adrenaline may be better and lighter options.
A premium support shoe that offers high levels of cushioning, this shoe takes a few runs to break in and after that initial period becomes a very nice place to be. It has a responsive feel for a heavy shoe and proves to be very durable.
The Bedlam sits towards the top of the Brooks support tree in terms of cost but the support is similar to the Transcend and Adrenaline GTS, using the Guiderail system. It works well and works well without being intrusive. If you want a cheaper shoe offering some serious motion control, have a look at the Brooks Addiction 14.
A TPU based material, 'DNA Amp' provides great cushioning and is very durable. Its a little stiff at first, some may find it a touch firm - and it is a little firmer than other materials, but thats the price for durability.
Guilde Rails provide the same level of support as the brand's other support shoes, the Transcend and GTS.
Redesigned flat-knit upper and integrated collar provides a secure, sock-like fit that moves with you.
The collar section has a minimalist design - some testers love it others aren't sure - but it is well made does the job.
The sole of this shoe looks pretty straightforward, but proves to be exceptionall durable. It performas well on most surfaces too, so like most of the brand's shoes there are no complaints here.
A great shoe, that if you want to pay the premium for - or find it at a bargain price - you'll be very pleased with. But the brand has other models that will provide everything this does in slighter lighter and just as comfortable packages.
