Overview
The Kayano keeps churning away as ASICS' top end supportive running shoe. As you would expect it is all about comfort but this is not a cumbersome running shoe. The cushioning is effective, as is the support and the upper fits very well too. Overall the shoe performs very well but that clearly comes at a cost. That is fine if you want the level of protection offered but many will behappy with a slightly less expensive shoe that still does the job.Road Race Suitability

Not very stabile shoe. Could be hard on your knees. I have had few injuries because of these shoes.
FABULOUS RUNNING SHOE!
I would highly recommend this shoe for comfort, support & cushioning. I made the switch from my Nikes which is the brand I've worn for years. This was the first shoe I tried on in the shop and it was a PERFECT fit. I couldn't believe how comfortable it was. There was no transitioning period - it was pure comfort straight away! I've had no blisters and have really enjoyed running in these shoes. I only run 4 to 5 miles per day - so I'm not a marathon runner, but I do believe any runner would be pleased!
