Overview
The 1140 is the little brother to the 2140. Time was that it was a lighter, less structured shoe. Now it is more similar in target audience but lower spec. It functions adequately on both the cushioning and support fronts but we would tend to recommend this more to lower mileage runners or those looking for a second shoe.Road Race Suitability

I'm a rookie runner, and these are my first running shoes, so maybe that nullifies my opinion to a certain extent, but I think this a great running shoe. I find them extemely comfortable and very supportive. They're also very durable.
