If you want to experience the Boost feel then the Solar GLide ST provides that cushioning with a touch of stability in an all together more competitively priced package.
Probably the best value version of a BOOST shoe available. Same cushioning, more stability and a more versatile shoe.
If you've been intriuged by the Boost cushioning but put off by the price then the Solar Glide may be the answer. Here we have the same cushioning but in a better priced and all together more engineered shoe.
If you don't need the stability features, check out the Adidas Ultra Boost, the Ultra Boost PB or the Solar Drive 19.
Boost cushioning soaks up the impact but with a layer of CM-EVA to provide stability it makes an otherwise rather flimsy shoe so much more stable and runable. You don't get the bottoming out feel you do from a purely Boost midsole meaning it's more durable too.
It's the upper that lets this shoe down a little. It's rather heavy in that the knit uses a layer construction and this makes for a bulky feel around the toes. It's not uncomfortable, it just feels a little too much.
The fit is good and it proves durable.
The familar Continental rubber outsole provides high levels of traction regardless of the weather. Its hard wearing too.
At this price and with the use of the Boost material you get so much more shoe for your money that with models like the Ultra Boost.
It's stable, durable and has a resposive ride. A sensible option for the adidas fan seeking support for the long run.
Dual-Density Boost is a lightweight midsole composed of TPU pellets, offering zones of denser Boost material to reduce the rate of overpronation.
Continental Rubber Outsole offers increased traction in both dry and wet conditions.
