Overview
If you were to come up with a check list of all the things you wanted from a trail shoe the Response Trail would tick all the boxes. There are certainly more glamorous shoes out there, some will just plain out-perform this one. But the truth is the cushioning, stability, fit and grip give all most of us need for standard trail running. If you are more serious about the off-road you may want more but this does all the essentials very competently at a good price.

Great value, great shoe
I am a supinator, male, 11 stone and find this shoe keeps me injury free and comfortable. It is a little on the heavy side, struggles in really muddy terrain, but is excellent in dry conditions. I have used mine on the Atlantic Coast Challenge and in various Endurance Life halfs and full marathons. I have had no problems with them when they are wet, after running through streams etc., although you have to be careful of a little side slip within the shoe on sloping ground. I am sure there are better shoes, but these are great value for money.
