If you think the shoe looks somewhat familiar, we'd tend to agree. Indeed, there has been some cross-over with the personnel at this brand being former ASICS staff.
We can't be sure to what extent the staffing at 361 'took inspiration' from ASICS but this is very much a GT2000 series shoe in a new outfit.
So close to the ASICS GT2000 and at the same price, most will simply go with the original as it's a more established brand.
The brand say - "The 361 Nemesis was created based on popular demand. The need for a classic stable everyday trainer is now fulfilled. A proven and tested platform featuring an extended medial post provides a stable and secure feeling."
And looking at the shoe, that classic trainer was the ASICS GT2000 - of which this shares more than a passing resemblance!
The Nemisis sits below the 361 Strata 3 in their stability range.
QU!KFOAM is the brands unique midsole material and it features here in a full-length layer which offers a more responsive feel than CM-EVA alone.
Neat, well made upper with a breathable mesh construction for comfort and a lightly padded tongue for a secure fit around the instep.
Again, very similar to the ASICS and hard to separate, with the 361 lacking the ASICS plastic midfoot shank that offers a little more midfoot stability.
A capable and comfortable shoe that's well made.
It's just that it's too close to the ASICS to make it a choice between the two. It's also at a very competitive price point and as well at the ASICS GT2000, you have the Brooks Adrenaline GTS which is a little softer and smoother feeling, and the Saucony Guide that is more stable.
Most will opt for an established brand.
Powered by full-length QU!KFOAM midsole to provide excellent cushioning and a smooth comfortable ride.
