Caffeine affects all of us. I’m buzzing after a skinny latte and avoid it anywhere near a run, while others drink sports stimulant drinks before working out. In a new video by the Institute for Scientific Information on Coffee, Dr Neil Clarke discusses the effects on the everyday runner. This new research suggests that a strong cup of coffee before a run could help improve running times! Drink the coffee 45-60 mins before your race and improve your time by up to 5 seconds.
